Margaret Schaftel
After collaborating closely with a design-build team on her own home a decade ago, Margaret discovered her passion for interior design and residential renovations. She went on to found her own firm, MADesigns, where she honed her skills and began working with Tomasz. Their successful collaboration led to the launch of their joint design-build company, Greyhome Partners, in early 2020. Margaret holds and MBA in Finance from UCLA and a master’s degree in Construction Management from Columbia University.
Tomasz Trzaska
As the owner of Trzaska Construction and with more than 25 years of experience in residential construction, Tomasz is a seasoned contractor and master carpenter. He has led numerous luxury new home construction projects, drawing on his many years of experience as lead general contractor for an award‑winning luxury home builder in Connecticut. He is a pure craftsman with an amazing eye for aesthetics and dimensionality. His construction expertise, precision craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence are at the core of the Greyhome Partners collaboration.
